4 Months

 

I never posted pictures when E turned 3 months, but, the the above phrase has been his motto for the past two months.  He really has "woken up" and started to show his personality.  He still is a really relaxed baby.  He loves to just sit and play in his bouncer or wherever we set him, but if he decides to have an opinion about something he is not afraid to show it.  He can be a little intense.  :)  

Here are some facts about Mr. E

• He has become quite the observer.  It is hard to get him to sleep at church because he is so busy watching what everyone is doing. 
• He is laughing more but sometimes we still just get a big grin and a wide open mouth that looks like it's laughing but stays silent.  Michael says, "insert laugh here".
• Grandpa Allred taught him how to go "brrrrr" with his lips.  He does it ALL the time now and even does it after we do.  Usually it is accompanied with bubbles and lots of spit.  
• Weight: 16.3 lbs. 
• Length: 24.5 inches
• Head Circumference: 16 inches

DROOL

That's right...lots and lots of it.  See what I mean...

He also discovered the joy of splashing in the bathtub.  He LOVES it!  In fact, one day when I lifted his leg up to wash it (mid splash) he screamed and started throwing a fit.  As soon as I put the leg back down he stopped and went right back to splashing.  See what I mean...a little intense.  This boy knows what he likes!

FINGERS

Yes, this boy LOVES his fingers.  Sometimes I have to pry them out of his mouth to feed him and as soon as he is finished with his meal they pop right back in.  What about a pacifier you say?  Well he decided fingers taste much better. 

 

HAIR

His hair has gotten so long.  But of course the sides thinned out a lot from rubbing.  The top has kept on growing though, so now he has hair that is 2 1/2 inches long on top and a bunch of baby fuzz growing on the sides mixed with a few long ones that didn't fall out.  Seriously it's out of control!  This is what it looks like when I just let it dry.  {It doesn't look much better when I try to style it either!}   People still stop us wherever we go and comment on how blond it is.

And since I didn't post any pictures from when he was 3 months old here they are.  I think he changed so much in just one month!

 

And the reason I didn't post when he was 3 months old.  I didn't get very many pictures.  After a while they all started to look like this. :)
