Summerfest Parade

Yep...I'm a nerd and I match the spoon to the bowl when I feed E

E went for some laundry basket rides...

while I worked on a project {I needed my mom's tools}

Finished my project.  It's our new shower curtain.  

{I'm not really finished though.  I have one more ruffle to add.}

E got into the bag of vegetable scraps that I was throwing away.

Before I got to him he had this in his mouth.  

I just had to take pictures.

This was the day that his "army crawl" disappeared. 

He just took off across the room crawling on all fours.

Happy Father's Day!

Michael's gift from me and E was a new suit from...

A company that makes custom suits.

One of their consultants came over to the house and helped Michael customize his entire suit!

And I'm talking EVERYTHING...pockets, vents, fabric, lapel etc!

All that for a FABULOUS price too!

It was great.  It should be here any day now and he is so excited.

 Happy 3rd anniversary to us!

We didn't do much on the day but we took a nice trip the next weekend.

Michael & I headed up to Park City to celebrate our anniversary. 

I didn't get many pictures except for this one.  

We rode the alpine slide and zip lines at the olympic park.

E got really dirty for the first time

 He pulled the trash down and had fun playing with the ads.

{I think we might need to make a change with our trash can.  He has done this twice since}

Melts my heart.  He doesn't do this much anymore.

June Goal

One of my goals this month (yes I have to double up because I didn't do my goal AT ALL last month) is to recognize the beauty and happiness that surrounds me.  To help me recognize these things I am going to take a picture everyday of something that is beautiful and/or makes me happy.  Over my first two weeks I'm finding that most of my pictures are of E.  What can I say, he makes me happy. :)

Finally!  A warm "summer" day!

E has decided to start spitting out food he doesn't feel like eating. 

This makes breakfast (and all other meals) very messy. 

This has become our post-breakfast ritual.  Bath in the sink.

We went down to Spanish Fork for their Wild West Days.  

E LOVED the little petting zoo. 

Michael's brother Joe was in town with his wife and 3 little girls. 

We went out to dinner with them and Zack and Marissa. 

The girls can NEVER get enough of E.  

This is a horrible picture, but it shows exactly just how much they love little E. 

I'm a slacker and didn't take a picture.

But we were in the car driving to Idaho this day. 

Michael had work in Idaho so E and I went with him so we could visit some old friends.  We had so much fun catching up, playing games, and going to the park.  Don't you just love her little smile?

That's the face she gave me as soon as I pointed the camera her direction.

 

On our way home from Idaho we stopped in Brigham City for a few minutes to get pictures of E in front of this cool blue wall.  

Again, I didn't take a picture. :(

A while ago Michael went to the store and when he came home he had these diapers.

He said he just couldn't resist!  :)
