This summer has gotten off to a good start and Michael and I have
done so many fun things!
The day school got out (May 28th) Michael and I got the keys to our new condo.
We moved out of our cold dark newlywed apartment and into a much newer 3rd floor condo.
The 3rd floor part is important to mention because this means that we have loads more
sunlight streaming into our home, and being from Arizona and Californai...we LOVE it!
Anyway, we moved in that Friday and Saturday
(many thanks to all those that helped in the process!)
Then the next day we hopped on a plane and headed to Nauvoo!
Neither of us had ever been there and since Michael's youngest brother Caleb (pictured below)
is serving as a Young Performing Missionary there we thought it was the best time to go.
Here are some other pictures from the vacation.
After spending 4 days in Nauvoo we had a day to spend here...
St. Louis. It was fun...very different from home but we had a good time.
Then we went to this lovely girl's wedding.
And then we headed home. All in all, the trip consisted of 6 take offs and 6 landings (got to love Southwest) , lots of road kill, (none that we hit) and plenty of laughs and good times.
It was a great way to start the summer!
