Tradition 1 ... Saturday Morning Pancakes
Michael's dad makes pancakes every Saturday morning. Now you might say wow, pancakes, but let me tell you these are not just normal pancakes. (And I would know because I do not even like pancakes!) These are made from scratch, a recipe that Dad Allred has been perfecting for years. And I, a pancake hater, absolutely LOVE them!
Michael and I had our first successful batch of pancakes on Pioneer Day and they were so good. Michael is pretty talented at making creatures with the batter! :)

Tradition 2... Brownie Sunday
Michael's dad makes brownies most Sunday nights for family and friends to enjoy. Again, they are made from scratch and its another perfected recipe. Last Sunday we had some friends over just to say hi after being out of touch with them for so long. (Wedding stuff has kept us busy)
Michael did such a good job cooking and carrying on family tradition. I can't wait for many more years of Saturday morning pancakes and Sunday brownies!

Turtle pancake looks yummy. Oh yeah you got to love the allreds brownies they are absolutely delicious. Very fatning but great at the same time there is no way you can say no to them.

Wow, I had forgotten about the Sunday brownies! Words can't describe how good those things are! My mouth is watering just thinking about it...:)
