Elijah's hair had gotten so long this summer. I loved it while simultaneously hated it. None of my tricks to make his hair look more 'done' and a little less bed head-ish worked.
It was so cute, but every time I put a collared shirt on him his hair would flow over the back in a mullet like fashion. Not a fan of the mullet.
The hair that had touched the top of his ears a few months ago, making him look like a little surfer boy, was coming past his ears and curving out. Not a fan of "hair wings" either.
Look how long it is behind his ears!
Sunday I decided I'd had enough.
So we decided to give Elijah his first "big boy" hair cut.
The boy you saw above transformed into this...
We are calling this his "big boy" hair cut because we think he looks so much older.
What do you think?
I'm loving the new hair. I'm also a little sad because he looks like a little boy instead of a baby. I'm not ready for him to be a little boy yet. He is growing up way too fast.

Oh, he's so so cute. I don't know who told these children they could grow up.
I think he and Annie should get married. I'm in love with him. :)
I love it! So cute!
