Thanks iPhoto!

This is my first post! Please hold your applause! Autographs will be signed afterwards!
I figured it would be a completely worthless post if there wasn't a picture of Brittany on it...so...there it is, enjoy! Isn't she gorgeous!

I suppose I should let you know, dear reader, (in case you were beginning to think that I was pretty good lookin myself) that I photoshop'ed this photo to clean up the huge scrape on my forehead that I acquired showing off on the trampoline for my lovely Brittany. (Oh come on...like you've never shown off on a trampoline!)
At the moment I landed a beautiful pike position, backflip, probably with a couple twists, the sun-baked trampoline mat ripped in two. Luckily, instead of falling to my death or fracturing my arms and legs, my forehead broke the treacherous fall. Obviously dazed, but still alive, I quickly looked over to my sweetheart, imagining she would rush to my aid and with caring sympathy nurse my wound; however, to my surprise, she suddenly broke into an uncontrollable fit of hiccups that oddly sounded a lot like laughter. My horrific scrape didn't really look that bad...at least it wasn't bad after I performed surgery with iPhoto's amazing technology!
So on this my first post, I would like to thank iPhoto for being so sensitive to my face and helping me remain so photogenic!

Our Story

Michael and I both transfered to BYU. I came from Southern California and he from Mesa, Arizona. Michael moved into my apartment complex in January 2007 and became my roommate's home teacher. Our apartment and his apartment started to become friends... they would come over on Sundays and we would drop by every once in a while. One Sunday night Michael and his roommate Jake were talking about how they didn't know anyone in Provo. So we all exchanged numbers so that we could hang out. That night a honey pot note (a little love note that our ward filled out at ward prayer) was delivered to our apartment and it read... "For a good time call..." and it had his phone number. So WAY outside of my "normal" behavior I decided to call! (I really don't know what came over me maybe it was his good looks and witty charm.) We chatted and he said he would get back to me for that good time. That next weekend I had a date.
A few weeks after that we said, "I kind of like you" and another week after that we were dating. I'd like to say that we both just knew from then on... but... we didn't. We broke up and learned even more about each other during that time. And then... we got back together. Six months after that he proposed, I left him for 3 month to study in New Zealand and now here we are today, 51 days from the day we will be married!
